Final day of preparations

Bit of a chaotic day...rounded up the last essentials...LPG adaptor (many thanks to Hilton Autogas!) and following a bent wheel after an argument with a pothole 200yds from home, back on the road after speedy service from ATS in Wolverhampton.

Car nearly loaded, just printing off some final itinerary stuff...

Setting off for Dover in approx 1.5hrs....

Parcel shelf + floor made, carpeted and fitted (with a bit of help from Dad ;-) )

For those who've asked...

We're leaving the UK on 31st March at 4am from Dover, and returning into Dover at 4pm on 20th April.

First post

Well...this is the first time i've planned a trip of this size, and a the first time i've created a blog. With a bit of luck both will be pretty successful.

The car is nearly ready (still making a parcel shelf) but most of the other stuff is done.

Hostels/ferries are booked, route is decided.

We're stopping at:
Essen, Berlin, Warsaw, Riga, Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Bremen, Dusseldorf, Bruges and back to Leeds.
